About Me

I’ve spent my life telling stories. I had a 46 year career in broadcasting, with 36 of those years with CBC. Most people know me as the longtime host of Edmonton AM, where I had the honour of waking up listeners and sharing the stories that shape our city.

Edmonton is home. It’s where I grew up, built my career, and raised my family. Over the years, I’ve had a front-row seat to the events, people, and moments that define this place. From covering the Olympics to local politics, what’s always mattered most to me is connection; helping people feel informed, understood, and part of something bigger.

I’m excited to continue to share my voice in new ways. These days, I’m focused on storytelling, public speaking, and community projects that keep me connected to the city I love. Edmonton has given me so much, and I’m not done giving back.
